This photo was taken right on Tioga Road in Yosemite National Park. One great benefit of seeing the country by bike was that I was almost always going slow enough to stop whenever I saw a cool flower, plant, beautiful view or something else interesting. This is in stark contrast to the blurring effect that happens while speeding along in a car. I had to use will power to keep from stopping every two minutes to check things out!
