Aside from deer and cattle, this porcupine that I came across on one of the last days of my trip was the largest roadkill I saw. You can see some of the sharp white quills on its body. A lot can be learned from looking at roadkill up close. I had no idea that porcupines had such long yellow teeth (see photo below).
