Ribbit! Ribbit!

I discovered this frog while biking north along Skyline Drive through Shenandoah National Park in Virginia. I'm not sure what kind of frog it is but I'm pretty sure that it was appreciating the rainy weather of the last few days more than I was! After looking up and down the roadway for approaching cars I knelt down to take this photo. I then proceeded to help the frog off the road. A few days later I ended up leaving the Appalachian Mountains due to the stormy weather, and made my way towards Washington, D.C.
