What's up Doc?! I spotted this rabbit munching on a shrub in the early morning at Arches National Park. It is probably either a desert or mountain cottontail. The difference between these two rabbits is their ear size and the color of their fur. I saw LOTS of rabbits hopping about as I rode through Utah and Colorado.

During my trip I will answer questions from you about the natural world that I will be exploring. My focus is on the elementary level (K-8). I encourage older children and adults to share this section with any younger children you know. You might be surprised by what you learn too!
