Tire Dip

Here's the proof! On June 10th, the first day of my trip, I biked out to Half Moon Bay State Beach to dip my tires in the Pacific Ocean to truly make my ride "coast to coast." This is a tradition among bicyclists, although I am not sure if dipping both tires is the norm. David Coale (wearing yellow) assisted, making sure that I did not fill my gears with salt and sand.
